My name is Mel Heard and I am the founder of PuggleBunz, a venture that I started in 2006 after leaving my job in a bank call centre to have my first child. While in utero, my nickname for my babies was "Puggle" which is the common name for a baby platypus, so it was an easy choice when it came to naming my business!! Five years and three beautiful daughters later and PuggleBunz is moving from strength to strength!
I started PuggleBunz as I was frustrated at the variety of clothing available in the mainsteam shops let alone trying to find things to fit over cloth nappies! As my girls get older it is getting harder to find clothes that are funky, but still age appropriate. My line of clothing is fun AND functional, designed to fit one child for several seasons - if not years!
